About the Role:
KINDHEARTED HEALTHCARE SERVICES INC is looking for a compassionate and dedicated CNA/CMT to join our growing team in Bowie, AL. Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Administer medications accurately and safely in accordance with CMT certification and facility protocols
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, health changes, and daily activities
- Assist nursing staff with clinical tasks and patient assessments
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients and residents
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Respond promptly to patient needs and call lights with empathy and professionalism
Requirements:
- Active and valid CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certification in Alabama
- Current CMT (Certified Medication Technician) certification required
- Previous experience in a healthcare, long-term care, or home health setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
- Excellent communication, observation, and documentation skills
- Compassionate, patient-centered attitude with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
