Duties
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems.
- Administer medications and injections with precision, aligned with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide specialized care for diverse populations in geriatrics, patients with developmental disabilities, memory care residents, and hospice or palliative medicine patients.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety.
Skills
- Proficiency with MatrixCare for accurate documentation and medical records management.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, ICD (International Classification of Diseases) coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding for procedures, and medical terminology to ensure precise diagnostic evaluation and documentation.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or complex health conditions like dementia or Alzheimer's disease while providing compassionate memory care or behavioral health support.
Pay: From $35.00 per hour
