Overview
We are seeking a highly driven, northern California-based Project-Based Marketing Coordinator to spearhead the structural development, localization, and rollout of our landmark retail marketing assets. The primary goal of this 3-to-6-month project is to orchestrate Coreimpact's brand placement and structural identity across key sporting goods retail outlets, ensuring undeniable brand identification at the point of sale.
As an organization, our initial vertical marketing and athletic endorsement efforts are laser-focused on Baseball and Football (MLB & NFL). This role bridges the gap between executive leadership, external creative teams, and wholesale sales departments to ensure all retail visual merchandising, digital content, and interactive campaigns are executed beautifully, on time, and within budget.

Key Project Responsibilities
1. Retail Campaign & Visual Asset Coordination (Primary Objective)
- Manage the project lifecycle for physical in-store marketing packages, signage, and interactive displays specifically tailored for premium tier sporting goods retail outlets.
- Coordinate with spatial designers and retail vendor portals to ensure interactive muscle-mapping and footwear velocity displays comply with regional store footprints.
- Create and deploy retail educational assets that demystify complex sports science into instantly digestible customer copy at the point of sale, driving immediate brand identification.
2. Tailored MLB & NFL Campaign Support
- Assist the core marketing department by tracking deliverables for omni-channel campaigns focused directly on baseball and football performance ecosystems.
- Curate, schedule, and manage content assets featuring our professional baseball and football ambassador portfolios.
- Ensure all creative assets (video loops, 3D product configurations, retail lookbooks) reflect the high-performance demands of field, diamond, and gridiron athletes.
3. Sales Support & Data Analytics
- Monitor, compile, and analyze initial sell-through data and campaign performance metrics following the initial retail outlet placement.
- Synthesize consumer feedback, email capturing metrics from digital sandboxes, and retail sales data to assist leadership in pivoting promotional strategies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in managing integrated marketing campaigns with a focus on B2B marketing, demand generation, and performance marketing.
- Strong proficiency in SEO strategies, social media advertising campaigns (including Facebook Advertising), Google Analytics, Google AdWords, WordPress, HTML, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Geography: Must currently reside within Sacramento County or the San Francisco Bay Area. While the day-to-day workflow offers remote flexibility, local proximity is required for on-site execution, local athletic testing events, and physical retail setup coordination.
- Industry Experience: 3–4 years of marketing experience with a proven track record strictly within the Sports, Fitness, or Sports Technology sectors.
- Elite Brand Storytelling: Deep conceptual understanding of how category-defining sports/tech companies (e.g., Whoop, Oura, Nike) structure premium marketing packages. You know how to weave complex performance and injury-prevention metrics into an emotional, aspiration-driven narrative.
- Sporting Knowledge: A strong familiarity with baseball and football training dynamics, culture, and terminology to authentically engage our primary core demographics.
- Project Management Mastery: Exceptional ability to manage shifting timelines over a 3-to-6-month sprint, allocate budgets, coordinate cross-functional teams, and maintain meticulous project documentation..
- Excellent leadership skills with a track record of managing cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments; experience managing advertising sales is a plus.
