Job Overview
We are seeking a warm, organized, and dependable Front Desk Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our patients and families. This role is essential in ensuring excellent customer service and smooth day-to-day clinic operations.
Responsibilities
Patient & Family Support
- Welcome and check in patients and families with professionalism and warmth
- Answer phones, emails, texts, and patient inquiries in a timely manner
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
- Provide families with basic information regarding services, scheduling, and clinic policies
- Assist with new patient onboarding and intake processes
- Coordinate communication between therapists and families
Administrative Duties
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within the EMR system
- Scan and upload documents into patient charts
- Collect copays, deductibles, coinsurance payments, and deposits as needed
- Assist with appointment cancellations, rescheduling, and waitlist/flex scheduling
- Support therapists and administrative staff with daily operational tasks
- Assist with insurance verification and benefits coordination as needed
Clinic Operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office environment
- Monitor schedules and support smooth patient flow throughout the day
- Help ensure accurate attendance and appointment tracking
- Support overall clinic efficiency and team communication
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; associate degree or higher preferred
- Previous front desk, medical office, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable using scheduling software, EMR systems, and general office technology
- Experience in a healthcare, therapy, or pediatric setting
- Familiarity with insurance verification or medical scheduling
- Bilingual (Spanish)

Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday–Friday
- Typical shifts scheduled between 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
