We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children in our care. This role involves engaging with children in various activities that promote their physical, emotional, and social development. A strong understanding of childhood development principles and effective classroom management skills are essential for success in this position.
Job Information:
- Before School (6:30-8:45) & After School ( 3:00-6:00)
- Must be 19+
- Must be reliable and consistent.
- Communicate with parents and Directors.
- Ensure program is in compliance with licensing expectations.
Lead Specific Duties:
- Maintaining site and student records
- Parent Communication
- Student Engagement
- Program Supervision
- Maintaining licensing compliance at building site
Duties:
- Provide attentive care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that foster learning and development.
- Engage children in play and structured activities to enhance their social skills and creativity.
- Monitor children's behavior and provide guidance to promote positive interactions among peers.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive learning experience for all children.
- Support special education needs as required, adapting activities to meet individual children's requirements.
Requirements:
- Must maintain CPR/First Aid certificate (training provided)
- Must maintain personaltraining records (MiRegistry)
- Must complete 16 hours of training each calendar year
Experience
- Previous experience in toddler care or early childhood education is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles is essential.
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques is advantageous.
- Experience in caregiving or babysitting roles will be considered a plus.
- Understanding of special education practices is beneficial but not mandatory.
