Automotive Accounts Receivable

Key Responsibilities
- Reconcile daily cash receipts, checks, and credit card payments from sales, service, and parts departments
- Count, balance, and process daily deposits
- Prepare and post customer invoices while maintaining accurate accounts receivable records
- Prepare daily bank deposits and close deposits by the end of each business day
- Receive and process bank drafts and related documentation
- Print, verify, and distribute statements and deposit reports
- Follow up on overdue accounts and assist with collections activities
- Reconcile statements, resolve discrepancies, and handle chargebacks or payment disputes
- Maintain accounting ledgers by posting account transactions accurately
- Assist with month-end accounting reports and schedules
- File and maintain organized accounting records and documents
- Support the accounting team with additional administrative duties as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of automotive accounts receivable experience required
- Automotive dealership accounting experience preferred
- Experience with dealership accounting systems, including ERA-IGNITE/ERA Link, preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Professional communication and problem-solving abilities
- Team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic
Schedule: Monday- Friday
Work Location: In Person- 2333 S Loop W, Houston, TX 77054
Compensation: $17 to $23 per hour, based on experience.
