Full-Time Position | Earn Up to $75,000 Per Year
Sport Clips of Crystal City is hiring an Assistant Manager who wants to combine cosmetology, leadership, and career growth.
This position is ideal for a licensed stylist who enjoys working behind the chair but is also ready to help guide a team, improve salon performance, and take on greater responsibility. You will partner with the Store Manager to keep the salon operating smoothly while helping team members deliver an excellent experience to every client.
Our salon is owned and operated by Jesse Keyser, a successful multi-unit salon operator who has built a strong organization by investing in people and developing future leaders.
As an Assistant Manager, you will help:
- Lead the salon team during scheduled shifts
- Coach stylists on service quality, client retention, and product recommendations
- Support daily opening, closing, and operational procedures
- Welcome new team members and assist with their training
- Address client concerns professionally and promptly
- Encourage teamwork and maintain a positive salon culture
- Monitor cleanliness, organization, and brand standards
- Help the Store Manager achieve staffing, sales, and performance goals
You may be a strong fit for this opportunity if you:
- Hold a current Missouri Cosmetology license
- Have experience working successfully in a salon
- Enjoy teaching, encouraging, and motivating others
- Communicate clearly with clients and coworkers
- Are dependable, organized, and able to make decisions
- Want to develop your management and business skills
- Can work a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends
Previous management experience is helpful, but candidates with strong leadership potential are also encouraged to apply.
