We are looking for a Front Office Manager to manage our front desk team. You will coordinate all front desk activities, including calls, reservations and guests services. We are looking for a combination of pleasant personality with a dynamic professional attitude to supervise and lead our team. Our ideal candidate can deal efficiently with complaints and has a solid customer service approach. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure our front desk provides friendly, professional service to our customers while confidentially handling any complaints or issues.
Responsibilities
- Ensure front desk is tidy and has all necessary materials (
- Hire, train, supervise and support front desk agents & night auditors
- Schedule shifts, ability to cover shifts as necessary due to business levels or absences
- Weekly forecast for revenue
- Ensure timely and accurate customer service
- Handle complaints and specific customers requests efficiently & professionally
- Participate in weekly management team meetings
- Work hand in hand with other departments in the hotel, ensuring clear communication between departments
- Troubleshoot emergencies
- Keep clear records
- Ensure company’s policies and security requirements are met
Skills
- Proven work experience as a Front Office Manager or Supervisor in a hotel setting
- Thorough knowledge of customer service, office management and basic bookkeeping procedures
- Previous IHG experience preferred
- Experienced with Opera is a must
- Proficiency in English (oral and written)
- Solid knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities
- Problem-solving skills
- High School diploma; additional certification is a plus
