Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for clients
- Provide therapy sessions to improve speech, language, and communication skills
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and educators to develop comprehensive care plans
- Provide guidance and support to clients and their families
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in the field of speech-language pathology
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience working with individuals with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Knowledge of assessment tools and therapeutic techniques used in speech-language pathology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
