Position Overview
The Offset Pressman will be responsible for the setup, operation, color control, maintenance, and production efficiency of our 40” Komori Lithrone press.
We are looking for someone who understands commercial offset printing and enjoys producing high quality work in a fast paced production environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate 40” Komori Lithrone offset press
- Maintain color consistency and print quality throughout production runs
- Monitor registration, density, ink and water balance
- Review job tickets and production specifications carefully
- Troubleshoot print quality and mechanical issues
- Perform preventive maintenance and maintain press cleanliness
- Work closely with prepress, bindery, and scheduling departments
- Meet production schedules while maintaining high quality standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience operating a 40” offset press
- Komori experience preferred, but not required
- Strong understanding of commercial offset printing processes
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Experience with aqueous coating is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and color quality
- Reliable, team oriented, and positive attitude
- Ability to lift paper and production materials as needed
