Summary:
This is Blood Bank position.
This is an evening role consisting of five 8-hour shifts, with a rotating schedule that includes every third weekend.
The Lead Medical Technologist/Medical Lab Technician role is responsible for problem resolution, staffing workflow, and equipment maintenance. Responsible for implementing, maintaining, and assisting in developing procedures, testing platforms, and quality control programs as well as serving as a technical resource for all internal and external customers. Assumes charge responsibility for the laboratory in the absence of a supervisor and performs essential duties of an MT/MLT.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

Education: Associate’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences or a similar field required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

License/Certifications: Current certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician or as a Categorical Technologist (e.g., C, H, I, BB, M) required. Current certification as a Medical Technologist (ASCP, AMT, HEW, ABHI) preferred.

Experience: One year of experience as a Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician required. Previous Lead experience preferred.

The pay range for this position is $31.79 to $43.02 per hour.
Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
