Expert level clerical and fiscal position within the organization. Coordinates patient financial eligibility for the OCHS sites for all services. Assesses patient needs, enters and/ or updates information on both new and existing clients, verifies eligibility paperwork and accurately complies/ updates all demographic information. Completes required payment agreement contracts, in accordance with policy. Completes and maintains all paperwork in compliance with OCHS and HIPAA guidelines.
As a Patient Eligibility Specialist, you will be essential in verifying patient eligibility for medical services and ensuring a smooth administrative process. Reporting to the office manager, you will utilize your core skills in medical administrative support and office experience to manage patient records efficiently.
Organizes and maintains eligibility records, filing and assures proper forms are used. Reviews all data for accuracy and completeness.
Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

One (1) year of medical administrative support and office experience
