Role Summary
We are looking for a skilled Injection Mold Process Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. Your primary focus will be managing the setup, optimization, and troubleshooting of injection molding operations to guarantee the safe and efficient creation of top-tier components.
To succeed in this role, you should possess practical expertise in mold changeovers, process parameter management, and machine troubleshooting. You will collaborate across departments—including engineering, quality, and maintenance—to drive continuous improvement and keep production running smoothly.
Core Duties-
Prepare injection molding machinery, molds, and peripheral systems for daily production runs.

Execute mold swaps and configure machine settings to meet specific production goals.

Calibrate molding variables such as heat, pressure, velocity, cycle duration, and cooling rates.

Resolve production defects like flash, short shots, or warpage to help ensure the delivery of high-quality parts to our customers.

Observe ongoing production cycles to make necessary refinements for consistent output.

Diagnose and repair issues related to molding machines, robotics, and material handling hardware.

Collaborate with maintenance staff to resolve mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical equipment failures.

Carry out routine maintenance tasks on molds and production machinery to help prevent unexpected downtime.

Confirm that all raw materials are correctly selected, dried, and handled according to specifications.

Partner with the quality and engineering teams to determine the root cause of defects and implement effective solutions.

Assist in the validation and development of new mold trials and product launches.

Record all machine configurations, process adjustments, and setup data for future reference.

Contribute to the team by finding ways to minimize scrap and boost overall equipment efficiency.

Uphold a tidy and secure workspace while strictly adhering to all safety protocols to protect your colleagues.

Offer technical mentorship and guidance to operators to improve team performance.
Required Qualifications-
Proven background in a role such as Injection Mold Process Technician or a similar manufacturing capacity.

Comprehensive practical understanding of plastic injection molding equipment and methodologies.

Demonstrated ability to perform machine setups, startups, and mold changeovers.

Skilled at identifying the root causes of molding defects to improve production reliability.

Solid grasp of molding variables, including cooling, speed, temperature, and pressure.

Experience operating auxiliary equipment and robotic systems is highly desirable.

Familiarity with pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems is a plus.

Basic knowledge of equipment troubleshooting and preventive maintenance practices.

Strong mechanical aptitude and a proactive approach to solving complex problems.

Capable of interpreting technical documentation, work instructions, and specifications.

Excellent communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.

High school diploma or GED; additional technical certifications are viewed favorably.
Preferred Experience-
Background in high-volume manufacturing environments.

Operational Environment
This is an active, floor-based position that requires you to spend most of your shift in the production area. You will need to be comfortable navigating industrial machinery and addressing equipment needs in a rapid-paced setting.
