Restivo's Heating & Air Conditioning is looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team. This role focuses on diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing residential HVAC systems. We are looking for a technician with strong technical skills who can effectively assess system performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
What You’ll Do:
- Troubleshoot and repair residential HVAC systems, including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and ventilation equipment.
- Conduct thorough evaluations to detect efficiency issues, safety concerns, and potential upgrade or replacement opportunities.
- Provide clear and honest assessments to homeowners regarding necessary repairs, upgrades, indoor air quality (IAQ) products, and new system options.
- Inform customers about system performance, energy efficiency, and available comfort solutions.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks to maintain optimal system operation and efficiency.
- Install, replace, and upgrade HVAC components as required.
- Test electrical circuits and components to ensure proper operation and safety.
- Accurately document all work performed, including recommendations and outcomes.
- Adhere to safety, quality, and regulatory standards during all service calls.
- Work closely with sales and leadership teams to ensure seamless communication and customer satisfaction.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of HVAC service experience strongly preferred.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with a solid technical foundation.
- EPA certification required; NATE certification is a plus.
- Proficiency with HVAC diagnostic tools and technology.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Professional appearance, strong work ethic, and customer-first attitude.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a high-performing team.
