American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT certification in X-Ray and MRI for a 13-week travel contract in Sierra Vista, AZ.

Located at a 120-bed acute care hospital in Sierra Vista, AZ

Level III Trauma Center

MRI department on the first floor of the facility

Serves a mixed patient population including all age groups across inpatient and outpatient settings

Patient ratio of 1:1

Equipment includes a GE Voyager MRI system
-
EMR is Cerner; PACS is Change (McKesson)

Schedule is Thursday–Saturday, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM, with rotating Sundays 7:00 AM–12:00 PM

No call requirements

No float requirements

Minimum of 2 years of MRI Technologist experience

ARRT certification in both X-Ray and MRI required

Licensed by AZDHS (Arizona Department of Health Services) — license required if applicable

Associate's degree in Radiology with MRI licensure required

Ability to perform Breast MRI required

AHA certifications required

Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible

This is a newly established MRI unit; candidates with diverse experience are encouraged to apply

GE MRI system training is preferred

Acrylic nails and hats are not permitted; any scrub color is acceptable

Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible

Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
