Service Manager – HVAC & Plumbing
We are looking for a Service Manager to run residential HVAC and plumbing service calls while helping manage day-to-day service operations for our Residential Plumbing & HVAC construction focussed company.
This is a hands-on position. You will be running calls yourself, helping customers, handling problems in the field, and coordinating with other departments when needed. You will be in the field every day in this role. If you are looking to just dispatch and answer questions, this is not the position for you.
We need someone dependable who can work without being micromanaged.
What You’ll Do
- Run HVAC and Plumbing service calls
- Manage one HVAC tech and one Plumbing tech. With > 70 total employees we have the bandwidth to pull in resources/installers to do as many change-outs as you can sell.
- Diagnose and solve problems in the field
- Help manage service scheduling and workflow
- Communicate with customers and crews
- Coordinate with the construction department when needed
- Help train and support technicians
- Handle warranty and callback situations professionally
- Keep jobs moving and customers taken care of
What We’re Looking For
- Strong troubleshooting ability
- Experience in HVAC AND Plumbing service
- Journeyman plumber OR RMGA certified
- EPA Certified - Universal preferred
- Good communication and customer service
- Able to manage people and situations calmly
- Organized and self-motivated
- Valid driver’s license
- Leadership experience is a plus

- Commission-based pay
- Hourly pay available when commissionable work is not available
