Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
- Provide care for patients with infectious diseases, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Support patients in mobility and physical therapy exercises as directed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient rooms and common areas.
- Utilize electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks and Epic for documentation and communication.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals in various settings including hospital medicine, hospice care, and PICU.
- Educate patients and families on care plans, anatomy knowledge, and disease management as needed.
Requirements
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant or equivalent experience in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of infectious disease care practices and protocols.
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems such as eClinicalWorks or Epic is preferred.
- Experience in hospital medicine or hospice care is a plus.
- Strong understanding of anatomy to provide effective patient care.
- Ability to work effectively in a teaching hospital environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients, families, and staff members.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
