APPLICATION ENGINEER
Clean Air Engineering is a leading engineering and consulting company. We are currently seeking a full-time Application Engineer for our Advanced Monitoring Team to help grow its line of air pollution monitoring products and service offerings.
Objective:
The position’s primary focus is on solving problems involving emissions and ambient air measurements. This may involve the installation and quality assurance of industrial continuous emission monitoring systems, as well as ambient pollutant monitoring systems that can be a part of a larger monitoring network, among others.
Nature and Scope of the Position:
The position will support the assembly, service, maintenance and quality assurance of existing products currently offered by the Advanced Monitoring Team and will provide input in new product and service development. The Application Engineer will perform as a member of a multidisciplinary team of engineers and scientists. Overnight travel to project locations is required.
Typical Responsibilities:
Participate in the development of new products and services.
Support assembly, service, maintenance and quality assurance of systems.
Competencies:
Experience in using hand tools, volt meters and soldering irons
Experience in circuit design is a plus
Background in measurement technology
Mechanical aptitude and curiosity to tinker
Background in electric circuitry and its troubleshooting
Other:
a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
familiarity with Arduino C is a plus
ability to lift 50 lbs.
ability to climb a 100'+ ladder
willing to travel 50% of the time
Must pass drug screen, criminal background check, DOT physical, and motor vehicle record review. Must have a valid driver's license.
