We’re in pursuit of a detail-oriented and proactive Lead Installer to oversee and execute project installations. This role involves a mix of coordination, communication, and team management. This person will possess strong leadership skills, an eye for detail, and a solid understanding of project logistics, installation, and budget management.
Responsibilities:
- Team Guidance: Trains installers, directs and organizes installers, instructs temporary help/trainees, and commands crew respect.
- Professionalism: Maintains a highly professional appearance, manner, and strong work ethic; highly punctual and self-motivated.
- Communication: Possesses strong oral and written communication skills for interfacing with crews and customers.
- Floorplans & Standards: Reads plans, blueprints, elevations, and specs to deliver high-quality furniture installations that meet dealership standards.
- Product Knowledge: Expert across all major furniture lines carried by the dealer; manages small inventories and specifies correct product use.
- Electrical Integration: Knowledgeable in electrical hookups to building power; effectively interfaces with electricians and cabling subcontractors.
- Project Wrap-Up: Manages the official punch list and follows proper procedures to close out a project cleanly.
Requirements:
- Must be able to pass all government-mandated background checks and access requirements, which may include U.S. citizenship for work on high-security federal projects.
- 5 or more years of commercial furniture installation experience.
- Proficient with the Google ecosystem (Drive, Docs, Sheets, etc) to access, update, and share project details and drawings.
Compensation:
- Full benefits package
- Salary range of $67,000 - $70,000
