Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to ensure a pristine appearance
- Handle custodial tasks such as trash removal, window washing, and surface disinfecting with efficiency and care
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards
- Assist with industrial cleaning projects or specialized floor care as needed to uphold high standards of cleanliness
- Support facilities maintenance activities including minor repairs or reporting larger issues to the appropriate teams
- Use commercial cleaning equipment safely and effectively while adhering to safety protocols
Qualifications
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in a commercial or residential setting
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, including floor care and buffing procedures
- Experience with industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is highly desirable
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as buffers, extractors, or pressure washers safely
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure thorough cleanliness
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and climbing ladders
