Overview
Wages will be commensurate with experience.
We are seeking a dedicated Bakery Clerk/Baker's assistant. In this position you will be playing an important role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers as well as assisting in decorating cupcakes and brownies and providing baking assistance.
Duties
- Provide excellent customer service by pleasantly interacting with customers.
- Take orders efficiently and, accurately entering transactions into cash register.
- Assist in decorating, baking, and preparing frostings.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines.
- Keep the front of house clean and well stocked.
- Make espresso, tea, and cocoa.
- Dip ice cream cones, make milkshakes, and sundaes.
- Up sell products.
- Record cooler and freezer temperatures daily.
- Check product quality to ensure freshness.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
- Wash dishes and sweep floors as needed.
- This is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities and other tasks may be assigned.
Experience
- Pay will be based on experience.
- Experience in retail food sales is preferred.
- Enjoy baking and decorating.
- A strong background in customer service is required.
- Be able to operate an electronic cash register.
- ServSafe Manager or Servsafe Handler would be helpful.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
