Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using TOAST POS system ensuring timely delivery.
- Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation, sanitation, and food safety.
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to support sanitation standards.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings.
- Familiarity with TOAST POS.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy service hours.
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities.
- Previous serving experience is a plus, along with knowledge of the inner workings of the kitchen for better team collaboration.
