Content Producer & Social Media Coordinator

Sale Pepe Pizzeria e Cucina is looking for a creative, organized Content & Social Media Coordinator to help lead the next chapter of our storytelling.
Over the past several years, we've built a strong and recognizable social media presence rooted in authentic storytelling, Italian culture, and the people behind our restaurant. We're looking for someone who is excited to build upon that body of work, honor the foundation that's been created, and help evolve it into its next chapter.
This is a hands-on, execution-focused role for someone who enjoys creating beautiful photo and video content, editing short-form video, writing engaging copy, and keeping social media organized and consistent.
You'll inherit an established brand voice, creative systems, content library, and production workflow while bringing your own creativity, curiosity, and craftsmanship to the work.
This position may be offered as either a part-time employee or independent contractor, depending on experience and availability.
Responsibilities
- Capture photo and video content at the restaurant
- Edit engaging Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, and carousel posts
- Write captions that align with Sale Pepe's established brand voice
- Schedule and publish content across social media platforms
- Maintain the content calendar
- Organize and manage photo and video assets
- Capture seasonal menus, events, restaurant moments, and behind-the-scenes storytelling
- Create and publish supporting Instagram Stories throughout the week
- Monitor basic content performance and identify what is resonating
- Work collaboratively with ownership while managing projects independently
What Success Looks Like
We're looking for someone who can confidently step into an established creative system and help carry it forward.
A typical month includes:
- Producing a minimum of 8 feed posts (approximately 2 Reels and/or carousel posts per week)
- Creating supporting Instagram Stories throughout the week
- Capturing fresh photo and video content at the restaurant
- Editing, caption writing, scheduling, and publishing all content
- Maintaining an organized content calendar and media library
- Helping our storytelling continue to grow with consistency, creativity, and attention to detail
Consistency, quality, and authenticity are more important to us than simply posting for the sake of posting.
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience creating engaging social media content
- Is comfortable filming with an iPhone and/or camera
- Has strong short-form video editing skills
- Has an eye for storytelling, composition, and visual detail
- Can write clear, engaging social media copy
- Is highly organized, dependable, and able to meet deadlines
- Can work independently and manage their own workflow
- Communicates professionally and takes creative feedback well
- Enjoys hospitality, food, culture, and storytelling
Preferred Experience
Experience with any of the following is a plus:
- Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
- Final Cut Pro, CapCut, Premiere Pro, InShot, or similar editing software
- Later or another social media scheduling platform
- Photography
- Canva or other graphic design tools
Compensation
Part-Time Employee: starting at $25/hour
Independent Contractor: package quote
Compensation will be based on experience, portfolio, skill level, and final scope of responsibilities.
