We are a primary care practice seeking an experienced, office assistant/medical assistant to assist our providers and other care team members in our office. This candidate must have excellent interpersonal skill, ability to work well under pressure, able to multi-task in a fast paced environment, and possess excellent English reading, writing, and oral skills.

Qualifications & Experience:
- High school degree or equivalent (required)
- Graduate from an Accredited Medical Assisting Program (required)
- Phlebotomy experience (preferred)
- (CPR) Basic Life Support Certificate (preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of work experience as a Medical Assistant in addition to externship (strongly preferred)
- Epic electronic health records system (strongly preferred)
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and HIPAA compliance (preferred)
- Strong computer skills (required)
Administrative Duties including but not limited to:
- Greet and check patients in/out
- Answer incoming and routing calls
- Respond to inquiries and messages in a timely manner
- Schedule appointments
- Register patients and inform patients of office policy/procedures
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
- Collect copays/coinsurances and payments
- Maintain and manage patient charts
- Ensure and update accurate patient information
- Process prior authorizations and referrals
- Process medical records requests
- Maintain patient confidentiality
- Perform other duties assigned and directed
Salary: Dependent on knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience

36-40

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
