Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner — Endocrinology
Part-Time to Full-Time Dedicated Corona Office (with Wednesdays in Orange County)
About the Role
New Age Endocrinology is opening a dedicated Corona office and seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (Advanced Practice Provider) to join our team. This is a learning-focused role on a clear growth path: you will begin in a supervised, hands-on training period and advance to independent practice and full-time hours as you build experience. You will practice from our own dedicated Corona office five to six days a week — seeing patients in person and via telemedicine — and treat diabetes, thyroid disorders, and other endocrine conditions under direct physician supervision, supported by strong administrative and AI-driven workflows so you can focus on patient care.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are especially encouraged to apply — the ability to speak directly with our Spanish-speaking patients is a real asset in this role. It is a strong plus, not a requirement, and we welcome excellent candidates regardless of language background.
Responsibilities
- See established and new endocrinology patients, in person and via telemedicine Manage diabetes, thyroid, and metabolic conditions under physician supervision Order and interpret labs, imaging, and CGM / remote monitoring data Coordinate prior authorizations, referrals, and care plans with support staff Document clinical encounters in the Tebra EMR
Requirements
- Current California PA or NP license (or license-eligible) PAs: NCCPA certification. NPs: national certification (e.g., AANP or ANCC), FNP or AGNP preferred Endocrinology or relevant specialty experience preferred; motivated new graduates considered DEA registration (or willingness to obtain) Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus (not required) — a great fit for connecting with our Spanish-speaking patients Comfortable with EMR and telehealth platforms
Schedule
Practicing from our dedicated Corona office five to six days a week (in person and telemedicine). In-person presence is required every Wednesday at our Orange County office, which alternates between our Santa Ana and Newport Beach locations on a biweekly basis, for direct physician supervision and training. Part-time initially, scaling to full-time as you transition to independent practice.
Compensation
Competitive and commensurate with experience. A training rate applies during the initial supervised period, advancing to the full hourly rate upon transition to independent practice.
