The Plant Maintenance Coordinator II is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities to support safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations. This position reviews maintenance requests, schedules labor and resources, coordinates with production and engineering teams, and provides administrative support for maintenance operations. The role helps ensure maintenance work is completed effectively while supporting preventative and routine maintenance programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule maintenance activities to support plant operations and equipment reliability.
- Review maintenance work requests and determine labor, tools, materials, safety requirements, and equipment needs.
- Coordinate maintenance schedules with production supervisors, engineers, and project managers to minimize operational disruptions.
- Monitor, track, and document maintenance activities, repairs, and work order completion.
- Support preventative maintenance programs by assisting with planning, scheduling, and recordkeeping.
- Maintain maintenance records and ensure accurate documentation within SAP and other maintenance systems.
- Assist with coordinating contractor activities and maintenance-related projects as needed.
- Communicate maintenance schedules, priorities, and status updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Provide administrative support to Maintenance Managers and Supervisors.
Support continuous improvement efforts related to maintenance planning and scheduling processes.

- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum of 2 years of related experience.

Reading, writing, and mathematical skills.

Familiarity with SAP.

Effective written and verbal communication skills.

General knowledge of plant maintenance activities.
