We are seeking an experienced and dependable Traveling Property Maintenance Technician to support multiple apartment communities throughout Kentucky based in Louisville, KY.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and takes pride in maintaining safe, efficient, and well-kept properties. This role requires travel between properties and strong knowledge of general maintenance, HVAC systems, and apartment turns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete resident service requests in a timely manner
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine property inspections
- Assist with apartment make-readies and unit turns
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance issues
- Support occupancy needs across multiple properties as assigned
- Respond to emergency maintenance needs when necessary
- Travel throughout Kentucky as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous multifamily property maintenance experience preferred
- Active HVAC Certification required
- A minimum of an EPA 608 is required
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout Kentucky
- Ability to work independently and prioritize daily tasks
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Driver License
Compensation:
Range: $25-$30
Pay rate will be based on experience and qualifications. Candidates with stronger maintenance experience and additional certifications may be eligible for higher pay.
Mileage reimbursement and additional travel pay may be provided depending on travel requirements and assignment needs.
