Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Siding and Window Installer, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the exterior aesthetics and energy efficiency of residential and commercial buildings. You will work on diverse construction sites, utilizing your skills in carpentry, roofing, and various construction techniques to deliver exceptional results. Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and install siding materials such as vinyl, fiber cement, or metal siding with accuracy and attention to detail
- Install windows of various sizes and styles according to schematics, blueprints, or client specifications
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently to complete installations
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure proper placement and alignment
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, caulking, sealing, or applying weatherproofing materials to ensure long-lasting installations
- Assist with framing, metal stud framing, or masonry work as needed to support siding or window installation
- Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for installation while maintaining safety standards on-site
- Collaborate with team members on restoration projects or remodeling jobs to ensure seamless integration of new installations
Experience
- Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on siding or window installation
- Skilled in using hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, chisels, and caulking guns; familiar with power tools including drills and saws
- Knowledge of roofing techniques, framing carpentry, stucco application, tile laying, or masonry is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, or technical drawings accurately for precise installation work
- Experience with construction estimating and understanding project plans enhances your effectiveness on-site
- Prior handyman experience or involvement in restoration projects is advantageous
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights safely while maintaining attention to detail
