You don't need to be a professional chef to excel here; we are looking for someone with a warm personality, an eye for presentation, and a passion for great customer service to help our guests start their day right.
Schedule & Seasonal Parameters
- Status: Part-Time, Seasonal (Immediate start through the end of the summer season)
- Weekly Commitment: 3 days a week
- Required Days: Every Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday (Availability for all three days is required)
- Hours: Early mornings are a must! Shifts are typically 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM (includes pre-breakfast setup and post-breakfast cleanup)
Responsibilities
- Food Preparation & Presentation: Efficiently heat, assemble, and portion breakfast items according to brand standards, ensuring food is always hot, fresh, and beautifully displayed.
- Guest Hospitality: Greet guests with a warm, welcoming smile, assist with any special requests, and maintain the friendly atmosphere our hotel is known for.
- Stocking & Inventory: Keep the buffet line fully stocked and organized during busy morning rushes so guests never have to wait for their favorites.
- Cleanliness & Food Safety: Maintain the absolute cleanliness and organization of the dining area, buffet line, and prep kitchen. Clear tables promptly and follow all food safety regulations.
- Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with the coworkers to ensure an overall excellent morning experience for all 108 rooms.
Requirements
- Hospitality-First Attitude: Strong communication skills and a genuinely positive, upbeat attitude toward guest interaction.
- Pace & Detail: Ability to work efficiently and stay organized in a fast-paced environment during the morning rush.
- Reliability: Dependable transportation for early morning shifts is a must.
- Experience: Previous experience in hotel breakfast service, food service, or customer service is preferred, but a great attitude and willingness to learn are our top priorities.
- Food Safety: Familiarity with basic food safety guidelines (or willingness to complete a food handler's certification).
