Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our state-of-the-art office for Sundays only. Our hours are typically 8:30-4:30pm with a lunch break guaranteed.

Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms with dental instruments, supplies, and equipment, ensuring all tools are sterilized and ready for procedures
- Assist the dentist during various pediatric dental procedures, including examinations, cleanings, X-rays, and oral surgeries
- Take and develop dental X-rays while adhering to infection prevention management and aseptic techniques
- Educate children and their guardians on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions
- Maintain dental sterilization procedures in compliance with healthcare infection prevention standards
Skills
- Strong knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles, dental terminology, and clinical procedures specific to children
- Experience with dental X-ray techniques
- Familiarity with dental equipment operation, sterilization procedures, infection control protocols, and aseptic technique
- Excellent patient management skills to create a welcoming environment for children and their families
