JOB DESCRIPTION:
Carefree Pest Solutions believes in high-quality customer service. We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Fumigation Crew Member to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist our certified Fumigation Technicians in performing and providing efficient Tent Fumigations. We are a growing company in a growing industry looking for career-minded individuals. We take great care of our team members who in turn will take great care of our customers.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work as part of a Fumigation Crew to ensure safe, efficient delivery of Fumigation results to our customers.
- Setting up Fumigation Equipment Including Tents and Sands Bags, Water Snakes, Etc.
- Break Down of Fumigation Equipment.
-Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all fumigation activities.
- Help maintain a clean and safe fumigation truck/ tools/ equipment.
- Attend all required meetings.
- Follow all safety procedures as required.
- Operate company vehicle in compliance with Company Vehicle Policy.
- Present a professional appearance via Carefree’s uniform requirements.
Key Requirements Include:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials 50+pounds
- Climbing Ladders, balancing, lifting, standing, walking on roofs
- Ability to work outside safely in all weather conditions
- Availability to be flexible when needed for some nights and Saturdays.
- Use of PPE equipment as required
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions
- Ability to effectively communicate information to customers and fellow employees.
- Flexible in job duties and able to multi-task in the field.
- Service-minded, motivated, and an independent self-starter.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

REQUIREMENTS:
-2 Years of Experience. If you have your SPID or FID that is a Plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication as well as presentation skills.
- Must have High School Diploma *or* GED
- Creative problem-solving skills.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to Lift Heavy Equipment Tarpaulins, water snakes, sand bags, etc. 50+ pounds
- Constant mobility including but not limited to walking, crawling, stooping, bending, kneeling, squatting, probing, climbing, pushing, pulling, balancing, stretching, and standing for long periods of time.
- Work mostly outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Able to safely work on ladders/ roofs
- Able to obtain and maintain licenses/certificates as required by federal, state and local regulations
- Pass pre-employment background screen and drug test
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
