We are seeking a knowledgeable, motivated, and customer-focused Sales Associate who is passionate about jewelry and enjoys working directly with clients throughout the custom design process. This role also includes administrative support and social media responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who is organized, creative, and detail-oriented.
ResponsibilitiesSales & Customer Service
- Assist customers with jewelry purchases, custom design consultations, and repair intake.
- Educate clients on diamonds, gemstones, precious metals, and jewelry craftsmanship.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Follow up on leads, quotes, special orders, and custom projects.
- Meet and exceed sales goals while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Maintain a professional and welcoming showroom environment.
Administrative Duties
- Answer phones, emails, and customer inquiries.
- Schedule appointments and manage client communications.
- Process sales transactions, invoices, and repair orders.
- Maintain accurate customer records and inventory information.
- Assist with order tracking and vendor communications.
- Support day-to-day store operations and organization.
Social Media & Marketing (Optional)
- Create and post engaging content for social media platforms.
- Photograph jewelry, custom projects, and new arrivals.
- Assist with marketing campaigns, promotions, and special events.
- Respond to social media inquiries and messages.
- Help maintain a consistent brand presence online.
Qualifications
- Previous jewelry sales experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of diamonds, colored gemstones, precious metals, and jewelry terminology.
- Experience with custom jewelry sales and consultations is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable using social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
- Basic photography and content creation skills are a plus.
- Proficient with computer systems, email, and point-of-sale software.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
