Duties
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install wall frames, floor systems, roof trusses, and other structural components using hand tools and power tools
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute framing layouts
- Collaborate with construction management teams to ensure projects stay on schedule and meet safety standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential framing, including frame carpentry, metal building erection, and roofing
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery operation
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Knowledge of concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry, plastering, siding, and remodeling techniques
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights safely
- Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and OSHA regulations
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving on-site
