We are hiring 2nd Lead- Class A Mechanics in Riverside!
Participate in all new projects, train entry level mechanics, and assist other mechanics whenever help is needed. Typical Duties and Responsibilities: • Must be familiar with plant and equipment operation. • Train entry level and class B mechanics. • Become familiar with new equipment as added to plant. • Make reasonable repairs on equipment with minimal down-time. • Shut down plant in case of an emergency, survey for any damage & restart plant when safe to do so. • Planning, layout, and installation the new equipment. • Other projects and duties as assigned by supervisor. • Requires high-level mechanical skills. • Must have knowledge of chemical compounding equipment. • Must know how to change motors and minor electrical repair in the absence of the electrician. • Knowledge of machine shop and minor machining in absence of machinist. • Knowledge of labelers and ink-jet printers. • Knowledge of advanced tooling and safety operation. • Ability to read technical drawing and diagrams. • Knowledge of aerosol and liquid filling equipment • Read and understand pneumatic and schematic diagrams. • Exhibit basic knowledge of PLC’s (programmable logic controls) Education: High School or technical trade school diploma Experience: • Class A mechanic must meet all the requirements are set for Class B and Class C level mechanics.
