We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dealer Lot Maintenance Technician to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of our dealership’s outdoor lot. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the grounds, landscaping, and lot infrastructure to create an inviting environment that reflects our commitment to quality and professionalism. Your proactive approach and hands-on skills will help keep our dealership looking its best and functioning smoothly.
Duties
- Perform landscaping tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, and weed control to maintain a pristine lot appearance.
- Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, power tools, and excavators safely and efficiently.
- Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and grass, troubleshooting issues as needed.
- Conduct regular inspections of the lot for safety hazards, damaged hardscape features, or equipment malfunctions.
- Assist with snow plowing and ice removal during winter months to keep pathways and access points clear.
- Perform basic vehicle lot maintenance including tire pressure checks, fluid top-offs, and minor repairs.
- Follow safety protocols diligently while handling pesticides, herbicides, and power tools to ensure a safe work environment.
- Clean the office and lot models
Requirements
- Vehicle Requirement: Canidates must own a reliable pickup truck capable of transporting tools, equipment, and furniture around the property as needed.
- Proven outdoor work experience with a strong understanding of grounds maintenance and landscaping practices.
- Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment, power tools, and basic lot maintenance.
- Ability to perform physical tasks in various weather conditions with stamina for outdoor work.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for maintaining the lot’s appearance and safety standards.
