Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Public Spaces Attendant to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and overall appeal of our public areas. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a welcoming environment by performing cleaning and custodial tasks across various communal spaces. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of public areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and common spaces to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to maintain pristine surfaces.
- Manage waste disposal by emptying trash bins and recycling containers regularly throughout the shift.
- Use industrial cleaning equipment safely and effectively to ensure high-quality custodial results.
- Assist with basic maintenance tasks or report any facility issues that require specialized attention.
- Support hospitality efforts by ensuring public spaces are organized, well-stocked with supplies, and welcoming for visitors.
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to create a secure environment for all occupants.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services within hospitality or industrial settings.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and use of industrial cleaning equipment.
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable for understanding guest expectations.
- Familiarity with housekeeping management practices to coordinate cleaning schedules efficiently.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery safely.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
