Moulton-Udell Community School District is seeking a dedicated, energetic, and structured leader to head our High School Track & Field program for the upcoming 2027 season.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in track and field disciplines (sprints, distance, jumps, and/or throws), a focus on athlete conditioning and injury prevention, and the ability to motivate student-athletes to achieve personal and team goals.
Plan, organize, and supervise daily practices tailored to various track and field disciplines.
Instruct athletes on proper technique, form, pacing, and safety across running and field events.
Foster a positive team culture centered on sportsmanship, discipline, academic achievement, and hard work.
Maintain clear and professional communication with student-athletes, parents, assistant coaches, and school administration.
Valid Iowa Coaching Authorization or Iowa Teaching License with a Coaching Endorsement.
Comprehensive knowledge of track and field technical skills and training methods.
Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Ability to pass required background checks.
