Responsibilities
- Safely handle and transport food orders from the kitchen to guests’ tables using proper manual handling techniques and safe lifting practices
- Ensure all food items are presented accurately according to order specifications, maintaining quality and presentation standards
- Support food preparation and adhering to food safety and handling protocols
- Help with food running during busy service times, ensuring timely delivery of dishes while maintaining high levels of customer service
- Maintain a clean work environment by following sanitation procedures and assisting with general kitchen cleanliness
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or banquet environments preferred but not required; willingness to learn is key!
- Strong communication skills and ability to provide in-person customer service with a friendly attitude
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks safely while following safe lifting practices
- Familiarity with food running, serving, bussing, or kitchen support roles enhances your candidacy
