Thank you for considering this part-time position. We are looking for a Violin Instructor to open/begin a Violin program at our studio! Previous Individual Lesson teaching experience is required (2 years), and small group teaching experience is preferred but not required.
Start Date - immediate upon finding the right applicant
Previous experience teaching children ages 8-17 with references is required.
Your Schedule would begin with one day per week (your choice of day) as this is a new instrument program.
We have had orchestras accompany our Theater productions in the past (all pianists using DAW to generate other sounds) and would really like to have an orchestra with real string players!
Preferences in hiring:
Preference will be given to applicants who:
- Have multiple years of experience teaching violin
- Have previous experience teaching children in a group setting
Requirements in hiring
- Must be available for Monday - Wednesday
- Must be able to pass background checks (criminal)
- Must genuinely enjoy teaching children and have previous successful and verifiable experience teaching children ages 8 - 17
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $38.00 - $45.00 per hour
