Responsibilities
- Perform professional nail care services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and creativity
- Maintain strict sanitation and disinfection procedures to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff
- Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable nail treatments or enhancements
- Stay updated on the latest trends in nail design, color theory, and industry techniques to deliver innovative services
- Promote retail sales of nail products, skincare items, and other beauty accessories through effective upselling strategies
- Assist with maintaining a clean work station and sterilizing tools according to health standards
- Provide excellent customer service by building rapport, listening actively, and addressing client needs professionally
Skills
- Strong knowledge of nail care techniques, sanitation protocols, and disinfection procedures
- Experience working in the beauty industry with a focus on nails or esthetic treatments
- Proficiency in color theory for creating appealing designs and custom nail art
- Excellent communication skills to engage clients confidently and explain treatment options clearly
- Ability to perform advanced services such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, hair extensions, hair threading, dermabrasion, esthetic laser treatments, and barbering is a plus
- Retail sales experience with upselling skills to enhance client satisfaction and store revenue
- Familiarity with retail math for managing product inventory and sales transactions effectively
