Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Engage with guests to understand their preferences, recommend drinks, and upsell menu items to enhance sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to strict food safety and food handling standards.
- Manage cash handling, cashiering duties, and basic math calculations to ensure accurate transactions.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment, especially in nightclub or banquet settings, while providing excellent customer service.
- Restock bar supplies regularly and coordinate with kitchen staff for food service or catering events.
- Follow all food safety regulations and alcohol service laws to ensure responsible serving at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience working as a bartender in a fast-paced environment such as fine dining, nightclub, or banquet hall is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is essential for order processing and sales tracking.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol serving practices.
- Proven ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality customer service.
- Experience with retail math, cash handling, and basic math skills are necessary for accurate transactions.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques or beverage crafting can be an added advantage for creating specialty drinks.
