The Opportunity
We're looking for a seasoned Superintendent to take the lead on commercial projects across our core markets. This is a high-impact, field-facing role where your expertise shapes the client experience and your leadership drives results from the ground up.
You'll own the jobsite, managing subcontractors, driving schedules, enforcing safety and quality standards, and serving as the face of Bogart in the field. If you're someone who thrives on accountability, builds trust naturally, and takes pride in delivering exceptional work, we'd love to connect.
What You'll Do
Project Leadership & Coordination
- Lead all onsite operations and field activities to ensure successful project delivery
- Partner closely with the Project Manager to align on progress, resolve issues, and meet project goals
- Supervise Assistant Superintendents and field staff, and lead preconstruction start-up and coordination meetings with subcontractors
- Serve as the primary onsite contact for clients, architects, engineers, and consultants
- Demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, initiative, and dependability in daily problem-solving and project execution
- Build strong professional relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members while upholding Bogart's standards
Scheduling & Documentation
- Develop and maintain project schedules, including weekly look-aheads
- Prepare daily project reports with supporting documentation and photos
- Coordinate inspections, permits, and testing requirements with subcontractors and agencies
- Maintain and update as-built drawings throughout the project lifecycle
Safety Management
- Implement and oversee jobsite safety programs with a focus on zero incidents
- Ensure subcontractors and crews conduct regular safety meetings
- Proactively identify and address safety risks to maintain compliance and protect all workers
Quality Control
- Monitor work to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and codes
- Conduct punch list reviews and oversee corrective actions throughout the project
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite
What You Bring
- 7+ years of verifiable commercial construction superintendent experience
- Sector experience in retail/big box, automotive (dealerships, car washes, gas stations), commercial kitchens, grocery, fitness, or entertainment
- Willingness to travel to project sites throughout California and potentially nearby states
- OSHA 30 certification and other relevant safety credentials (strongly preferred)
- Proficiency in Procore, MS Project/Excel, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $115,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
