Advent Home Care Agency, Inc. is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Female Home Health Aide (HHA) for a patient in Syosset, NY.
We are looking for an English-speaking caregiver who is reliable, professional, and committed to providing exceptional one-on-one care in the patient's home.
Available Schedules
Choose one of the following permanent schedules:
Day Shift
- Thursday, Friday & Saturday
- 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM
Overnight Shift
- Wednesday, Thursday & Sunday
- 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM
Consistent hours are available for the right caregiver.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist with ambulation and safe transfers.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
- Provide medication reminders in accordance with New York State HHA guidelines.
- Observe and report changes in the patient's condition.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment.
- Follow the patient's individualized plan of care.
Qualifications
- Current New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) Certification.
- Female caregiver required for this assignment.
- Must speak and understand English fluently.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Previous home care experience preferred.
- Reliable transportation is a plus.
