A warm family in Rockville Centre is seeking a long-term part-time nanny to care for their two young daughters. They are looking for a nurturing, dependable, and experienced nanny who is confident caring for both a toddler and a newborn while creating a fun, loving, and structured environment.
The ideal candidate is reliable, communicative, patient, and genuinely enjoys helping young children learn and grow. This is a wonderful opportunity to become a long-term part of a family looking for consistency and stability.
Responsibilities:
✔️ Full care for both children throughout the day
✔️ Planning engaging, age-appropriate activities for the toddler
✔️ Supporting newborn routines including bottles, diapering, naps, and soothing
✔️ Encouraging developmental milestones through music, reading, outdoor play, arts & crafts, and imaginative play
✔️ Preparing children's meals and snacks
✔️ Child-related cleanup and light kitchen tidying (dishes, bottles, etc.)
✔️ Maintaining a safe, nurturing, and structured environment
✨ Requirements:
✔️ Extensive newborn experience required
✔️ Comfortable caring for two young children simultaneously
✔️ Warm, patient, empathetic, and engaging personality
✔️ Excellent communication and reliability
✔️ Must have reliable transportation to arrive on time
✔️ Long-term mindset preferred
✔️ Spanish, Haitian Creole, Mandarin, or another second language is a plus
