Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our facilities and equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues in a timely manner.
- Responsibilities:
- Repairing and troubleshooting low voltage electrical systems and the ability to work with basic hand tools
- Troubleshoots and repairs overhead cranes, mixers, conveyors, and other plant equipment
- Makes general repairs in the plant and office
- Ability to operate genie lift a
- Communicates regularly with management in regards to specific repairs/issues
- Maintains digital log of maintenance requests
- Ability to work on occasional Saturdays and other non-working days to complete repairs that would otherwise be impossible during production hours
Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
-Experience with electrical motors/equipment is essential
