Hours: Hourly position 7:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Position as a child care teacher beginning as soon as possible. The successful candidate will provide daily instruction and implement a curriculum consistent with the Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards. The daily job duties will include any/all of the following: constant supervision, providing a safe environment, life skills, delivering curriculum, following routine tasks, self-help skills, socialization and conflict resolution skills, hygiene, bathroom assistance, and all other tasks as assigned. This will also include supervision during lunch and outside areas such as the playground.
Qualifications: Previous experience with young children is a must. Early childhood coursework, CDA, or degree preferred. CPR certification and shaken baby training are required along with a background check. This individual must be patient, have good behavioral management skills, be dependable, and possess the ability to communicate and work closely with all colleagues while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
