Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Landscaper to join our dynamic outdoor maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces through a variety of landscaping, groundskeeping, and horticultural tasks. Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, and fertilizing to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor environments
- Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as lawnmowers, power tools, irrigation systems, and hardscape machinery safely and efficiently
- Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and pests to support proper landscape management and plant health
- Install and repair irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering schedules and water conservation practices
- Apply pesticides and fertilizers following safety protocols to protect plant health while minimizing environmental impact
- Maintain safety standards by adhering to all safety protocols during outdoor work activities and equipment operation
- Assist with snow plowing, hardscape installation, gardening projects, and grounds cleanup as needed to support year-round landscape maintenance efforts
Qualifications
- Proven outdoor work experience with a strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices
- Mechanical knowledge of power tools, hand tools, irrigation systems, and grounds equipment operation
- Knowledge of horticulture principles including plant identification, pruning techniques, and soil management
- Familiarity with pesticide management and safety procedures for chemical application
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions while maintaining a high level of safety awareness
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for managing multiple landscape projects simultaneously
- Valid experience in lawn care, tree care, gardening, hardscape installation or repair is highly desirable
