Our Back Office Medical Assistant will play a vital role in our Podiatry practice. This position requires time management, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Our Assistant is responsible for handling phone calls and scheduling appointments, reviewing patient records and entering new patient data into the computer, filing medical claims and preparing reports that are then forwarded to the Back Office Manager. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn about various medical topics.
Responsibilities:
- Take and record medical histories.
- Perform diagnostic tests and procedures.
- Provide foot care as ordered by a podiatrist.
- Apply first aid as needed.
- Order and stock medical supplies.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
