Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Auto Body Collision Technician and/or Painter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in auto body repair, painting techniques, and fabrication, ensuring vehicles are restored to their original condition or enhanced with high-quality finishes. Your expertise will directly contribute to delivering exceptional service and satisfaction to our customers while honing your craft in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
Duties
- Perform collision repairs, including frame straightening, dent removal, and structural repairs
- Prepare surfaces for painting through sanding, masking, and priming to ensure flawless finishes
- Inspect damaged vehicles thoroughly to identify all necessary repairs and ensure quality standards are met
- Apply paint using traditional methods, ensuring color matching and smooth application
- Conduct welding tasks such as MIG welding
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for auto body assembly, detailing, and finishing touches
- Maintain detailed supplement repair documentation and communicate progress
Skills
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools
- Experience with auto painting techniques for high-quality finishes
- Ability to perform automotive repair tasks efficiently while maintaining safety standards
- Familiarity with auto body repair standards, detailing practices, and vehicle assembly processes
- Attention to detail, problem solving skills and proactive attitude
