Commission-Based Nail Technician
Job Summary
We're looking for a talented, motivated, and passionate Nail Technician to join our growing beauty team on a commission-based basis. As a commission-based nail technician, you'll provide exceptional nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and custom nail art. You'll have the opportunity to maximize your earnings through your skills, client retention, retail sales, and additional beauty service referrals.

Responsibilities
- Perform professional nail services, including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, nail enhancements, and custom nail art.
- Maintain the highest standards of sanitation, disinfection, and safety in accordance with state licensing regulations.
- Consult with clients to recommend services and provide education on proper nail care and maintenance.
- Stay current on the latest nail trends, techniques, products, and color combinations.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Promote and upsell additional salon services, including eyelash extensions, body waxing, esthetic treatments, and retail products.
- Assist with retail sales of nail care products and beauty accessories.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming workstation.
- Work collaboratively with the salon team to deliver an outstanding client experience.
Qualifications
- Current Nail Technician or Cosmetology License (required).
- Previous experience performing professional nail services.
- Strong knowledge of sanitation procedures, infection control, and state regulations.
- Skilled in gel nails, acrylics, nail enhancements, and nail art.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Professional appearance with a positive, reliable attitude.
- Ability to build and retain a loyal client base.
- Experience with retail sales and upselling is preferred.
- Additional beauty service experience, such as eyelash extensions, waxing, threading, hair services, or esthetic treatments, is a plus.

Pay: $50.00 - $480.00 per day
